Recently a new fabric shop, online opened up called The Fab Clique Fabric Shoppe (click to join their facebook group)! I was invited to join by several fellow sewing friends. So, without hesitation – I decided to browse because why not?! After looking for about 30 minutes, I loved the prices and the fact that I not only purchase fabric but awesome appliques.

Well…I placed an order…And within minutes, I had a tracking number. Less then 2 days later, I received my order. I quickly opened up my envelope and found…

The quality of the fabrics I received (all double brushed poly.) was great and the photos matched the fabric I received. These prices of these fabric pieces were per yard and slightly less than other fabric shops. So, I washed my fabric so that I could get started on a few projects that I had been waiting to sew up. And…

after washing and drying my fabric…No pilling, no holes, no ripping, no tears, no stains, no fraying – it looked exactly like it did when I received it. Not to mention it was lightweight and perfect for Spring and Summer tops (just what I had in mind). I decided to keep the cream floral for myself for an upcoming pattern by Patterns for Pirates releasing within the next week or so.

With the denim double brushed poly I sewed up the Be Fancy Tank Top Pattern by Ellie and Mac. I love the Ellie and Mac patterns as they are always true to size and generally a quick sew. Everything you need is listed on one page and the instructions are super clear. Well…voila!17760046_10103376748086745_735042892572908891_n

I also ended up sewing a Sugar Pie by Patterns for Pirates. The Sugar Pie is a dolman top for kids and also a quick sew. I love the versatility of this pattern and the options it includes; curved hem, hemmed, tunic or dress length or banded. So, within 30 minutes I ended up with this glorious shirt. 17800046_10103377426432335_4109227943513714171_n.jpg17800080_10103377043165405_1408722783167801346_n

Now off to buy more fabric from The Fab Clique Fabric Shoppe….

Note: this post contains affiliate links, which means that if you choose to purchase a pattern, a small portion of that gets recycled into my fabric/pattern addiction – this is at no cost to you! All opinions are my own!
