One shoulder tops are popping up EVERYWHERE this season, not to mention on dresses, tops, and rompers. I have been eager to make my kids some Spring and Summer tops that wouldn’t show wear and tear after just a handful of trips to the playground. I have always been nervous to try new tops, as kids can be so picky about what they wear!
When Lindsey of Ellie and Mac posted that she would be creating a pattern that would consist of a one shoulder top with a handful of options – I had to apply! After I applied within 24 hours, I was chosen to test! I was SO excited! I adore Lindsey’s patterns, as they are easy to follow instructions with clear photos to help guide seamstresses!
I have to admit, I love a quick and easy sew that won’t take me hours to sew up that my kids won’t wear. The Live Out Loud One Shoulder Top Pattern took me under 45 minutes for my first sew. I chose some scraps that I had from a previous project to test Version 1. And Voila! My kids adored the tops…Win – win! So I sewed up a few more…and now, I may even sew up a few more before Summer hits as these tops will be perfect for those hot summer days.
